The Supershed is a superstructure of railroad timbers that serves as a front porch and “street” for the pods that it shelters. It was originally conceived as something of an academic village where students sleep and eat. In efforts to ensure the Rural Studio’s student capacity, thesis students designed and built the Supershed on the Morrisette property.
