A direct response to the first version of the 20K project, the second iteration of the 20K Home takes the simple, vernacular form of a shot-gun house. Essentially one large room with generous front and back porches, all services are consolidated into one wall. Curtains are used in lieu of traditional framed interior walls, and the result is 400 SF of interior space and 300 SF of porch.
